I've never been one of those dog owners that thinks that everyone should spend each Saturday afternoon personally washing and grooming their dogs. After all, dogs are made to adapt to human's many different lifestyles. But I found this thing out on Hacked Gadgets: the Dog-o-Matic, a machine that automatically washes your dog and... man, it just looks cruel to wash your dog this way. Here's the video too.
Honestly, I can't see how this will not be a traumatic experience for your dog, specially for those that already hate baths. From their perspective, they get into this hard box that starts doing stuff to them and their owner can't comfort them because he's in the other side, What an anxious moment! Dogs might go in the first few times, but I see them ending up hating this thing and showers in general even more. And the Dog-o-Matic doesn't even scrub the dog!
For those that have a yard, it's just better to blast them with the water hose. For those with an apartment, c'mon, just spend those few minutes washing them, it doesn't take that long at all once you do it a few times.
